November 9th, 2013

JCW owner/promoter Ricky O. announced that the JCW Heavyweight Championship had officially been vacated, and #1 contender "The Escort" Erik Andretti would have a title match.  Damien Darling and "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto joined Andretti at ringside for the announcement of his opponent.  Ricky O. then informed the Playas that it would be Club vs Club, as Andretti would take on Darling!  DeManto calmed down his group, saying it would all be taken care of.

- Mo Sexton  d.  2 Hott Steve Scott

JCW Heavyweight Championship:

What appeared to be a set-up where Darling was expected to lay down for an easy win for Andretti ended up being turned upside-down when Darling decided he wanted a legitimate shot at the title.  DeManto chose to back Andretti, tearing apart the Playas Club, and leading to an attempted ambush by DeManto.  Darling was able to overcome the interference and emerge as the new JCW Heavyweight Champion.

JCW Extreme Championship:

- Bandido Jr (c)  d.  2Hot Steve Scott

Scott and Bandido engaged in a high-energy slugfest right up until the moment the bell sounded to signal the 15 minute time limit.  The challenger 2Hot immediately encouraged the fans at ringside in a "five more minutes" chant.  The referee heard the demands of the crowd, and after checking with the champion Bandido, ordered the match to be restarted.  Scott was able to clock Bandido with his trademark cell phone to score the pinfall, but as 2Hot's hand was raised, the phone was discovered, prompting the referee to restart the match a second time!  Bandido was able to recover and land a superkick to retain his Extreme title.

- Matt Striker  d.  Myke Quest

- The Down Boyz (Steve & Tony)  d.  Glitz & Glamour

Doorway To Hell Match

- Kyle The Beast  d.  Jeff Cannonball

- La'Fu & Saturday  d.  Timothy Rich & Sweatvest

What was originally announced as a tag team match may as well have been a 2-on-1 contest as La'Fu completely dismantled his unfortunate opponents.  A splash by Saturday put another one in the Win column for the Sons Of Kamala

JCW Extreme Championship - 4-Way Elimination Match

- Bandido Jr (c)  d.  Frightmare, Lucky tHURTeen, and Nicky Oceans

- The Spirit Squad (w/ SoCal Val)  d.  Ice Pick & Nate Mustang (w/ Destiny)

A different look to the Spirit Squad was seen as new member DANNY!!!!(Inferno) joined Kenny and manager SoCal Val.  The influence of Val came into play late in the match when she delivered a crushing blow with a foreign-object-loaded pompom to give her Squad a dubious victory.

- Jake The Snake Roberts & JCW Heavyweight Champion Damien Darling  d.  The Playas Club ("The Escort" Erik Andretti & "The Cold Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto)

January 25th, 2014

- Bulldog Dylan  d.  Stylin' Brandon Kirk

- Jeff Cannonball & Corey Havoc  d.  The Down Boyz (Tony & Steve)

JCW Extreme Championship - Triple Threat Match

- Bandido Jr (c)  d.  2Hot Steve Scott and Joey Janela

The 1-on-1 rematch between Bandido and 2Hot quickly became a Triple Threat when a crazed fan stormed the sound booth and demanded entrance music be played.  Janela made his way to the ring through the crowd, but the change in rules was still not enough to prevent Bandido Jr from once again successfully defending his Extreme Title.

- Matt Striker  d.  "The Cold Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto

The control and authority that JCW officials have over matches was clearly evident here.  After numerous instances of interference in the match by Nicky Oceans and "The Escort" Erik Andretti, referee MJ banished the Playas Club to the locker room.  DeManto and Striker traded well-known high impact moves, but neither could score a pinfall.  Left to fend for himself, DeManto resorted to trying to intimidate the referee.  An attempted kick was caught by Ref MJ, who delivered a stunner to the Cold Hearted Playa!  Matt Striker seized the opportunity and picked up the victory.

March 14th, 2014

The Edison crowd welcomed St. Matthew's Athletic Director Darren Venture to the ring, where he was quickly interrupted by The Playas Club.  Danny DeManto gave a brief history lesson to the fans, and revealed that Venture was actually the man inside the giant Matty The Leprechaun head.  A clear message was sent from The Cold-Hearted Playa that as long as Venture stayed out of Playas Club business, the night would go smoothly.

- Chris Steeler  d.  Eric Corvis

- The Sons Of Kamala (La'Fu & Mobutu, w/ Saturday)  d.  Kevin Hernandez, Manny Moore, Ryan Tweeden, and Bulldog James Dylan

- The Beast  d.  Ryan Rumble

- The Down Boyz (Steve & Tony)  d.  The Push Brothers (Leon St. Giovanni & Good News Hughes)

Following the Down Boyz victory, all three members of The Playas Club stormed back to the ring to prove they were the ones in charge of the event and the JCW Tag Team division.  While Andretti, Oceans, and DeManto proceeded to put a beating to Tony and Steve, out from the curtain came the JCW Heavyweight Champion Damien Darling and the Hall Of Fame Wrestling Legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts!  The pair made the save, and with the numbers now against The Playas, they retreated to the relative safety of ringside.

DeManto issued a challenge to Roberts to try to find a willing partner to make it a team of three, and then come back for the Main Event to take on The Playas Club in a 6-Man Tag Team match!

JCW Extreme Championship

- Bandido Jr. (c)  d.  Joey Janela

Once again, Bandido proves himself to be the king of overtime!  In a match that underlined the Extreme nature of the title, Janela and Bandido went all over the St. Matthew's gymnasium, using an array of chairs, trash bins, and metal bleachers to beat each other near senseless.  The punishment went on for a full fifteen minutes until the bell signaled a time-limit draw.  Fans at ringside let their opinions be heard, and soon began a "five more minutes" chant.  Bandido got on the microphone and told the Edison crowd that he agreed with them - they came to see a winner, and they were going to get one!  The two combatantants picked up right where they left off, and only a running powerbomb through a cafeteria table was finally able to stop the title hopes of The Zebra Kid.  In a fan-favorite match, JCW Extreme Champion Bandido Jr. retains his belt!

- Jake "The Snake" Roberts, JCW Heavyweight Champion Damien Darling, and Matty The Leprechaun  d.  The Playas Club ("The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto, "The Escort" Erik Andretti, and Nicky Oceans w/ "The Princess Destroyer" Shannon WIlliams)

While it wasn't one of the top names in the JCW locker room, the third man in the corner of Roberts and Darling certainly did make a difference in this match!  The Playas Club wisely isolated Darling in their corner for nearly the entire match until the Champ was finally able to tag in Jake.  Roberts borrowed the huge Matty head from Venture, and knocked DeManto senseless!  One patented DDT later, and the unlikely team of Roberts, Darling, and Matty The Leprechaun emerged victorious in the Edison main event!

March 28th, 2014

- El Guapo Grande (w/ Big Booty Trudy)  d.  Kevin Hernandez

The evening of Jersey J-Cup Tag Team action kicked off with a non-tournament match that saw Kevin Hernandez challenge El Guapo Grande to a dance-off, and eventual match, both of which Hernandez lost handily.

Quarterfinal Match #1

------------------------------
- Los Bandidos (El Bandido & Bandido Jr w/Bandido Mini)  d.  The Playas Club (Nicky Oceans & "THe Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto w/ "Princess Destroyer" Shannon Williams)

- Rhett Titus & "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela  d.  Glitz & Glamour (Steve Sterling & "Bright Lights" Jarrett Foster)

Quarterfinal Match #3

------------------------------

- The Spirit Squad (Mikey & Kenny)  d.  The Down Boyz (Steve & Tony)

Quarterfinal Match #4

------------------------------

- The Death-Proof Daddies (Aaron Epic & Chris Dickinson)  d.  Team Monstacide (Homicide & Monsta Mack)

A war that went the full 15 minute time limit saw both teams deal massive punishment to each other.  After the final bell rang, Mack and Homicide demanded the match be restarted. With the fans behind them, referee Jimmy Storm ordered five more minutes be put on the clock.  It was not meant to be for Team Monstacide though, as Epic and Dickinson picked up the win.

- El Guapo Grande (w/ Big Booty Trudy)  d.  Stylin' Brandon Kirk

iBrandon Kirk stormed out to ringside, furious over the fact that he was not an entrant in the Jersey J-Cup Tag Team Tournament.  Kirk refused to leave the ring until he got a match on the biggest event of the season!  The music of El Guapo Grande hit, and "The Hudson County Hero" pinned Kirk for his second victory of the night!

Semi-Final Match #1

---------------------------

- Rhett Titus & "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela  d.  The Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey)

Semi-Final Match #2

---------------------------

- The Death-Proof Daddies (Aaron Epic & Chris Dickinson)  d.  Los Bandidos (El Bandido & Bandido Jr)

Epic and Dickinson made their way only halfway out to ringside, ducking out a side door of the Hasbrouck Heights VFW Hall.  The unsuspecting Bandidos wound up being ambushed by the Death-Proof Daddies on the entryway, where El Bandido sustained a major back injury.  Without his father in his corner, Bandido Jr was forced to fend for himself in what was effectively a 2-on-1 handicap match.  Dickinson and Epic proved to be too much for the Extreme Champion to handle on his own, and Los Bandidos were eliminated from the tournament.

JCW Heavyweight Championship

-------------------------------------------

- Damien Darling (c)  d.  "The Escort" Erik Andretti (w/ Nicky Oceans, "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto, and "Princess Destroyer" Shannon Williams)

The man Darling originally defeated to earn his title wasted no time, attacking the champ before he even made it into the ring!  The former stablemates went to war, forcing the referee to warn each participant about illegal strikes on several occasions.  In the end, despite having an entire platoon of Playas at ringside, JCW Heavyweight Champion Damien Darling was able to retain his title belt, frustrating the Playas Club once again.

Jersey J-Cup Tournament FInal and
JCW Tag Team Championship Match
-------------------------------------------------
- Rhett Titus & "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela  d.  The Death-Proof Daddies (Aaron Epic & Chris Dickinson)

The team of Janela and Titus had their work cut out for them after Epic and Dickinson took the low road to the finals by injuring El Bandido pre-match, and thus ensuring they would expend less energy in their semi-final.  The impacts of the blows delivered by all four men in this match echoed throughout the hall, eliciting sympathetic groans from the crowd!  It took an explosive double-team powerbomb/lungblower combination maneuver from Titus and Janela to finally put an end to the tournament final, and the Daddies' title hopes.  The first-time tag team of The Zebra Kid and Rhett Titus celebrated in the ring with their J-Cup trophy and their brand new JCW Tag Team Championship belts!

March 29th, 2014

- The Beast  d.  Monsta Mack

- The Sons of Kamala (La'Fu & Mubutu w/Saturday)  d.  Stylin' Brandon Kirk & Kevin Hernandez

- "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto w/ "Princess Destroyer" Shannon Williams  d.  Maximus Sex Power

It was probably not a good idea for Power to insult the crowd in DeManto's hometown of Queens, NY.  After a lengthy speech in which Power alternately berated the fans and tried to halt the show, DeManto enjoyed a rare show of fan support!  With the crowd (and Williams) behind him, The Cold-Hearted Playa proceeded to give everyone at ringside exactly what they wanted, and pinned Maximus 1-2-3.

- Jerry "The King" Lawler & The Down Boyz (Steve & Tony)  d.  Danny Inferno & The Playas Club ("The Escort" Erik Andretti & Nicky Oceans)

Royalty was present in Queens when The King entered the JCW ring once again.  After a very animated discussion regarding the crown on the back of Inferno's robe, the 6-man tag match got underway.  Despite the Playas and Inferno making full use of tactics that can't be found in any rulebook, Lawler picked up the win for himself and The Down Boyz!  Post-match, the King left a little something extra on Inferno's robe.

- Glitz & Glamour ("Bright Lights" Jarrett Foster & Steve Sterling)  d.  The Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey)

JCW Heavyweight Championship

- Damien Darling (c)  d.  Earl Cooter (w/ Candy Cartwright)

JCW Extreme Championship

6-Man Elimination Match

- Bandido Jr (c)  d.  JCW Tag Team Champion "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela, 2Hot Steve Scott, "Firebird" Jorge Santi, Lucky tHURTeen, and Grim Reefer

The main event was only barely contained by the steel barricades at ringside as all six men engaged in death-defying leaps to the outside!  The last two men standing - Extreme Champ Bandido Jr and Tag Team Champ Joey Janela - put it all on the line and exchanged several near-falls.  Finally, Bandido Jr was able to score the win and retain his Extreme Championship title belt.

Grudge Match

- "The Dirty Daddy" Chris Dickinson  d.  "The Bad Boy" Zebra Kid Joey Janela

The match many fans and wrestlers alike thought could be the most brutal contest in JCW history did not disappoint!  Dickinson and Janela battled all over the gymnasium, using bleachers, vendor tables, climbing ropes, and more to beat each other to near unconsciousness.  In the end, it took a Crucifix Powerbomb from the second turnbuckle to finally knock Joey Janela out of the match, and earn the victory for "The Dirty Diddy".

After the match, Chris Dickinson got on the microphone to let everyone in the building know that the combined heart and insanity of "The Zebra Kid" earned his respect that night.  A well-deserved standing ovation was given to both men.

- "Frat Boy" Brandon Kirk & "Rude Dude" Corey Havoc  d.  The American Muscle Sharks (Mark Modest & Mike Matixx)

JCW Heavyweight Championship Match

- QT Marshall  d.  Damien Darling (c)

- QT Marshall & X-Pac  d.  The Playas Club (Damien Darling & "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto)

History was made in the JCW ring when two fan-favorite wrestlers squared off for the Heavyweight Title Belt.  While there were groups of fans who were behind each of the participants, it was the QT Marshall supporters who were still cheering after the bell.  The formerly-undefeated champion Damien Darling was dealt his first loss, but accepted it graciously.  On the microphone, Darling told the Barnegat crowd that following his near-fatal car accident a year ago, he made a list of things he wanted to accomplish - and he was glad to have been able to cross off "winning the JCW Heavyweight Title" from that list.

This show of humility was evidently too much for the mouthpiece of The Playas Club, Danny DeManto, to stomach.  "The Cold-Hearted Playa" made his way to the ring to confront his former friend and stablemate.  DeManto questioned Darling's heart and dedication, wondering where all of these so-called fans were during his time hooked up to machines in the hospital.  It was time, said DeManto, to come home to The Playas Club.

A kick by DeManto to the new champ's midsection sent Marshall to the canvas, and forced Darling into a decision - side with the fans and defend QT Marshall, or join DeManto and return to The Playas Club.

With a resigned shrug, Darling made his choice, and joined in the attack on Marshall!  As fans expressed their disapproval, kicks rained down on the JCW Heavyweight Champion, until three words sounded out..."Are You Ready?"

Chants of "X-Pac" caught the attention of The Playas Club just in time for them to turn around and see the former NWO and D-X member charge down the aisle and send both men running for cover.  X-Pac helped Marshall to his feet and a challenge was issued - a tag team match!

The four men engaged in an emotionally-charged match that eventually saw X-Pac hit his famous Bronco Buster and X-Factor, giving the victory to himself and your NEW JCW Heavyweight Champion, QT MARSHALL!

- "The Selfie Superstar" 2Hot Steve Scott  d.  "The Frat Boy" Brandon Kirk

JCW Tag Team Championship
- Glitz & Glamour (Jarrett Foster & Steve Sterling)  d.  Rhett Titus & "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela (c)

Following the announcement of challengers Glitz & Glamour, one half of the JCW Tag Team Champions, Joey Janela came out to ringside by himself to apologize to the fans.  Evidently, Rhett Titus was unable to make it to the event due to car trouble, so there would be no match.

Jarrett Foster quickly reminded Janela that the match contract had no clause that would allow for rescheduling due to a pair of flat tires.  The Zebra Kid demanded to know how Foster knew exactly what happened to Rhett's car, but Sterling ambushed Janela and the match was underway!

The back-and-forth contest was made even more impressive by the fact that Janela was being forced to effectively fight a handicap match!  In the end, the noble effort was not quite enough to overcome the 2-on-1 advantage.  Your new JCW Tag Team Champions - GLITZ & GLAMOUR!

Mixed Tag Team Match

- The Gifted Yung & Rich (Su Yung & Rich Swan)  d.  Merril The Peril & Dominique The Wrath

JCW Heavyweight Championship
- QT Marshall (c)  d.  "The Escort" Erik Andretti

A hard-fought victory and successful title defense by QT Marshall was overshadowed by a post-match beatdown by Andretti's Playas Club partner, "The Cold-Hearted playa" Danny DeManto!  Both DeManto and Andretti laid into Marhall until finally help arrived in the form of former WWE superstars Val Venis and Curt Hawkins!

The Big Valbowski and The Party Starter cleared the ring of The Playas Club, and a main event tag team match was made!

- The Down Boyz (Tony & Steve)  d.  The Heavy Hitters (Monsta Mack & Low-Life Louie)

- Val Venis & El Guapo Grande (w/ Big Booty Trudy)  d.  Glitz & Glamour (Jarrett Foster & Steve Sterling)

At first it appeared that Glitz & Glamour's first title defense would be similar to tha match in which they won those belts - a 2-on-1 handicap match!  With only Guapo in their way, Foster and Sterling bragged about how easy it would be to defeat someone who had no help.  But with a loud greeting to the females in attendance, Val Venis came storming down the entryway to team up with El Guapo Grande!

The size, strength, and unusual pairing of Guapo and Venis won out over the style and technique of Foster and Sterling, and the winning team celebrated with a posedown and dance with Big Booty Trudy!

Glitz & Glamour had the last laugh, however, when they reminded Val and Guapo that because no contract had been signed, it was a non-title match!

- Su Yung  d.  Deonna Purrazzo

- The Down Boyz (Steve & Tony)  d.  Curt Hawkins & Danny Inferno

JCW Heavyweight Championship Rematch
- QT Marshall (c)  d.  Damien Darling

Although they were ejected from ringside early in the match, the other two members of The Playas Club returned to ringside post-match to continue the attack on Marshall they started the night before.  With Val Venis no longer in the building, and Curt Hawkins recovering from his earlier match, DeManto and Andretti seemed to believe they would be able to finish off the JCW Heavyweight Champ.

The save came in a much smaller package this time around, as Cruz and Rios - Los Ben Dejos - sprinted to ringside with all of the speed and energy of a hurricane!  The Cold Hearted Playa issued a challenge that was quickly accepted by Los Ben Dejos, and a co-main event was signed!

- "The Zebra Kid" Joey Janela  d.  "The Rude Dude" Corey Havoc

The 15 minute time limit was not enough to decided a winner in this contest, as Janela had Havoc in a cross-face submission when the time ran out!  The crowd led a "five more minutes" chant, and Janela spurred them on further to try to influence referee SP Anderson.  He called for the match to continue, and after several more minutes of high-impact moves, Janela once again locked on the cross-face to gain the victory!

- Los Ben Dejos (Rios & Cruz)  d.  The Playas Club ("The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny DeManto & "The Escort" Erik Andretti)

4-Way JCW Extreme Championship Match
- Bandido Jr (c)  d.  Takaaki Watanabe, Lince Dorado, Rich Swann

The match that went all over the arena in Hasbrouck Heights featured the power and techniqe of Japanese superstar Watanabe, and the high-flying luchador maneuvers of Dorado, Swann, and Bandido.  It took all three men to pin Taka, and a brutal blow to the head to finally bring down The Purrfect Ten, Lince Dorado.

In the end, fans gave all four men a standing ovation when the bell finally sounded and Bandido Jr. was once again handed his JCW Extreme Championship belt after pinning Rich Swann for the victory.
